Fullview-pretty please! After all the sweet, reassuring messages I got when I announced I was giving up on taking requests, I wanted to draw something good to post … but then I promptly went and spent two weeks working on a sketchy, horrible animation storyboard that still is a long, long way from being presentable, let alone completed. Oops. So I took a break from the depressing sadstuck animation and drew some bro hoof. Remember this? I actually wanted to post a theory with this pic, but I think I’ll keep it to myself after seeing the power of theories in the Davesprite tag. Gosh darn-it guys, please stop acting like he’s already dead, it’s killing me! Mmph!

I was sourly tempted to spend more time on this pic. I can see what else still needs to be done, but I’ve already invested enough time into this and I’m reasonably happy with it. I’ve re-drawn his head about 5 times, and I officially give up. I just can’t ‘Bro’. And yes, I know Maplehoof is disproportionate to Bro here. It’s intentional. Bear in mind that Maplehoof was bought for a thirteen year old little girl, not a grown man. Although I love drawing horses, I dunno much about them, but I’m pretty sure he’d be too big for her.
I originally drew him without the smirk and now have two versions to chose from. I might surreptitiously change it back to none-smirking bro later; I can’t make up my mind which I prefer.
